Ferris Bueller Question?

I like the movie, It's been a long time since I've seen it, so pardon if some of my movie facts are wrong. But I think Ferris is kind of an ***, lol he ditches school, gets his best friend in trouble, steals his friend's dad's car, all kinds of stuff. and the principal gets the short end of the stick because he's just doing his job and trying to get ferris back to school. and all that jazz.
