Why is shane dawson so popular?

dont get me wrong. i dont hate him or something i just wonder why everyone likes him. i just dont think he's funny. i think hes messing with teenage brains because the only thing he has on his show is s*x jokes, bad words, and just innapropriate stuff. why do teens liek stuff like taht so much?
