Taking a Ferris Bueller's Day Off?

Has anyone reading this ever tried, attempted, or taken a day from school like Ferris Bueller? If so, how did it go, how did you do it, and what happened when you got home? Also, does anyone have an idea on how to actually pull of a Ferris Bueller? I want to do something similar for senior year just because it sounds like it would be hilarious and fun. I don't want any comments telling me to stay in school or its a stupid idea. I know it is, but it would be awesome to do for senior year. Please anyone reply, thanks so much!!! :)
